You keep the teleports and party members you've unlocked in previous runs. When you fail in Earth Born, or the 7-day time limit runs out, you'll have to start over. Don't be afraid to spend your AP in regular battles, just make sure you restore it before heading out to take on the Demon King. The Knight's attacks can change depending on your run. With AP, you can unleash special attacks. Your characters have a limited amount of AP, and they earn more each turn. Skills are the bread and butter of Earth Born's battle system.

So, a good method to uncovering Earth Born's full map is to journey until you reach a bird statue, activate it, warp back to the Inn to heal, and then continue your journey from the last statue you visited.
